Job summary

Cpl Group in Ireland seeks a Senior Security Architect to lead the design of secure, resilient technology solutions across cloud, applications, data, networks and enterprise platforms.

You’ll embed Security by Design across strategic transformation programmes, helping the organisation innovate confidently while managing risk.

Extensive experience in security architecture, cloud security, IAM, data protection, threat modelling and security risk assessments is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Security Architecture or Security Design.
• Strong expertise across cloud security (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), IAM, application security, network security and data protection.
• Proven ability to conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments.
• Experience designing secure enterprise-scale solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A pragmatic approach that balances security, risk and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design secure architectures across cloud, application, infrastructure and data environments.
• Lead threat modelling, security reviews and risk assessments for major projects.
• Advise on cloud security, IAM, API security, network security and data protection.
• Influence technology decisions and ensure security is embedded from concept to delivery.
• Present security recommendations and risk-based solutions to senior stakeholders.
• Champion modern security practices, standards and governance across the organisation.
