Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an IT / Cyber Security Lead to own cybersecurity for an expanding international group. You will work with the Group IT Manager to strengthen security, develop policies and drive regulatory compliance across markets in a hands-on role based in Galway.

The role offers autonomy to shape the security function, oversee external MSP, and deliver improvements while managing incident response and DR planning. Occasional travel to Ireland/UK is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT security or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs and infrastructure security.
• Experience creating and maintaining security policies and documentation.
• Understanding of NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR or similar frameworks.

An exciting opportunity has opened for an IT / Cyber Security Lead to join a growing international engineering organisation operating across multiple markets. This newly created role offers the opportunity to take ownership of cybersecurity across the wider group, working directly with the Group IT Manager to strengthen security, develop policies and drive compliance.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT security or a related technical role.

• Salary up to €80,000.
• Matched pension contributions up to 5%.
