Job summary

Berkley Group is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to lead multiple Scrum teams in a fast-paced technical setting in South Dublin. The role emphasizes Agile delivery, coaching, and impediment removal, with a mix of onsite and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities include facilitating ceremonies, coaching teams and stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master / Scrum Coach managing multiple teams or projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with sprint metrics, capacity planning, and PI Planning.
• Experience facilitating Scrum of Scrums with global/distributed teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing data warehouse and reporting projects.
• Financial services or accounting experience is preferred.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, ceremonies, and best practices.
• Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Own sprint and quarterly metrics, including capacity planning, Daily Radiators, sprint reporting, and PI Planning.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple, cross-functional, and globally distributed teams.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and achievements to stakeholders and management.
• Support delivery across both Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments.
• Drive continuous improvement and help teams achieve agreed delivery outcomes.
