Job summary

Stelfox Limited is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a long-term daily rate contract in Dublin. The role operates in a hybrid model with three days on-site and focuses on facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams to deliver high-quality working software.

You will lead multiple cross-functional teams, drive sprint reviews, PI planning, and metrics reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to remove impediments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master with proven experience in agile environments.
• Experience as a Scrum Master/Coach managing multiple teams in a technical setting.
• Proficiency with JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence for project tracking.
• Ability to train and coach teams on ceremonies and artifacts.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall SDLCs and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective sprint execution.
• Coach Scrum teams and remove impediments to progress.
• Collect and report sprint metrics (Daily Radiator, reviews, PI planning).
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and tech teams.
• Lead Scrum of Scrums with distributed teams and multi-project visibility.

Senior Scrum Master - Daily Rate Contract - Hybrid-Working Model (3 Days' On-Site)

This is a long-term rolling contract position.

Job Description:

• Significant experience in managing products in the Agile methodology and skilled in facilitating in an iterative environment.
• Demonstrates servant leadership among team(s) and business partners
• Must possess a can-do attitude and willingness to work with scrum teams to deliver working software within the confines of Agile.
• Excellent facilitation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to all functional groups; the ability to identify technical impediments and issues into appropriate context.
• Excellent analytical skills, flexibility, ability to plan and organize, responsiveness, creativity.
• Experience utilizing a structured product management methodology, including agile, as well as formal tools and approaches
• Knowledge and experience in high performance technical environments. Demonstrated ability to perform in demanding multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to manage independently in a dynamic environment with rapid development cycles, multifunctional teams and distributed teams
• Scrum master experience and certification preferred

Required Qualifications:

• Experience as a Scrum Master / Scrum Coach successfully managing multiple projects/teams in a technical environment
• Experience with recognized Scrum workflow tools (JIRA) and other tools – SharePoint and Confluence
• Extensive experience required to own sprint / quarter on quarter metrics - Daily Radiator / sprint reviews / capacity planning / quarterly program increment (PI) planning
• Ability to train/coach scrum team members on typical ceremonies and artifacts
• Certified Scrum Master
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Agile and Waterfall SDLCs
• Strong MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently towards goals in an environment with multiple and changing demands
• Communicates effectively across project teams and ensures that project status, issues and successes are communicated to stakeholders, management and documented appropriately
• Must be able to drive out results and address challenges
• Experience managing data warehouse and reporting projects in the financial industry
• Knowledge of SharePoint

• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner with a minimum degree of supervision
• Must have strong technical aptitude, communication and problem solving skills
• Experience with managing Scrum of Scrums with global teams
