Job summary

CR2 HPS Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to coach distributed Scrum teams within the Development Department, driving high performance, self-sufficiency, and agile delivery of software for digital banking and payments solutions.

You will champion Agile principles, mentor teams through ceremonies, remove impediments, and partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to align roadmaps with business goals in a hybrid work model requiring on-site presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments.
• Experience working in at least two different organisations.
• Proven track record of transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile.
• Experience with distributed teams and Agile at scale.
• Strong knowledge of Jira and Agile reporting tools.
• Agile certifications: PSM II, A-CSM, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams in Agile practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Help teams transition from Waterfall to Agile methodologies.
• Remove impediments and foster a safe, trusting environment for open communication.
• Build team autonomy and maturity through servant leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable feedback loops.
• Bridge between development teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Establish and maintain Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) and provide insights to leadership.

Job Purpose

To enable and coach multiple distributed Scrum teams within CR2's Development Department to become high-performing, self-sufficient, and agile-driven. The Senior Scrum Master will champion Agile principles, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the effective delivery of high-value software increments across CR2's digital banking and payment solutions.

Our Hybrid Working Model requires employees to be on-site three days per week in the Dublin Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Agile Coaching & Facilitation
  • Guide teams in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
