We are seeking an experienced, delivery-focused Scrum Master to join a leading financial services organisation. This role will be responsible for driving Agile best practices across multiple Scrum teams, facilitating successful delivery, and ensuring teams are operating at a high level of performance and maturity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a certified Scrum Master with strong experience managing distributed teams, delivering complex technology and data initiatives, and coaching teams through Agile transformation within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery Leadership: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) Planning.

Team Coaching & Enablement: Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, ceremonies, and artefacts to drive continuous improvement.

Sprint & Capacity Management: Own and report on sprint health, team capacity planning, velocity tracking, sprint metrics, and quarterly delivery objectives.

Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify, manage, and remove delivery blockers while escalating risks and dependencies where appropriate.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project status, risks, issues, and successes effectively across business, technology, and senior leadership teams.

Multi-Team Coordination: Facilitate Scrum of Scrums activities across globally distributed teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives.

Agile Governance & Reporting: Maintain Agile dashboards, delivery radiators, sprint reporting, and key performance metrics using Jira and related collaboration tools.

Delivery Excellence: Support teams in delivering high-quality software solutions within Agile frameworks while promoting a servant leadership culture.

Core Requirements

Scrum Master Experience: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach managing multiple concurrent teams and technology projects.

Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies with the ability to operate effectively across both delivery models.

Scrum Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

Agile Tooling: Strong hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and other Agile delivery tools.

Metrics & Reporting: Extensive experience managing sprint metrics, capacity planning, velocity tracking, delivery forecasting, and PI Planning activities.

Facilitation & Communication: Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.

Leadership Style: Demonstrated servant leadership approach with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong ability to influence without authority.

Technical Environment Exposure: Experience working within high-performance technical environments delivering complex software, data, or reporting solutions.

Project Management Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Independent Working: Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive initiatives and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.

Financial Services Experience: Previous experience within banking, financial services, accounting, or regulated environments.

Data & Reporting Projects: Experience supporting data warehouse, reporting, analytics, or enterprise data delivery programmes.

Global Delivery Exposure: Experience facilitating Agile delivery across geographically dispersed teams and international stakeholders.

Agile Transformation: Exposure to Agile maturity initiatives, coaching programmes, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Scaled Agile (SAFe) Environment: Experience working within larger Agile delivery models including Scrum of Scrums and enterprise-level planning frameworks.
