Job summary

The School Food Company LTD is seeking hands-on Part-Time Catering Assistants for Kildare, Ireland. Work 10–18 hrs/week with a fixed-term, on-site position at Kildare Town Educate Together NS. Training in HACCP is provided and lunch is served on long shifts.

You will move between schools within a 30-minute drive, prep and serve fresh lunches, and help maintain food safety standards in a busy school kitchen.

Qualifications

• Garda Vetting and Child Protection Course required.
• Experience in catering or home cooking is an advantage, but a positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Cooking from scratch: peeling, chopping, prepping, and cooking fresh ingredients (no raw meat handled).
• Supporting daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Delivering freshly cooked lunches to classrooms.
• Maintaining high HACCP food safety standards.
