Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment is seeking a Field Based Construction Sales / Business Development Executive to drive growth across County Kerry, Cork and West Limerick. You will develop new and existing customer relationships, identify opportunities in the construction sector, and meet customers on-site to tailor product and service solutions.

The role offers a base salary of €50,000 with an OTE of €60,000–€65,000, plus a fully expensed company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or business development experience, ideally within construction, building materials or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of the construction sector and commercial sales environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, commercially focused and capable of working independently.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Kerry, Cork and West Limerick.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage new and existing customer accounts across the assigned territory.

• Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors, builders, developers and other industry stakeholders.
• Meet customers on-site and understand their requirements, providing suitable product and service solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and follow opportunities through to completion.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity, sales pipelines and opportunities.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall commercial growth.
• Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
