Clear. is seeking a Director – Sales to lead Hyperscale key accounts across the EMEA region, collaborating with regional leaders and global account leads to drive strategy, growth and profitability.

You will support the AEC program and engage with customers, consultants, and partners to shape solutions across the data centre lifecycle. You will build and lead a high-performance sales team, develop partner relations with vendors, and deliver compelling bids, proposals and demonstrations to win

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of related industry professional sales.
  • 5+ years leading and managing staff at national, district or regional level.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and implement sales strategies to achieve forecasts.
  • Understands competitive landscape, market insights and communicates with stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Sell a diverse range of Data Center solutions and services across a defined territory.
  • Position services for design, end-to-end project deployment and rack & roll.
  • Build partnerships across Business Units and work with a fast-paced sales team.
  • Develop business partner relations with strategic vendors/alliance partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
  • Utilize sales management tools for planning, supplier planning, and documenting opportunities.
  • Understand competitive landscape and market insights; communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and administer sales plans to meet quotas and motivate staff.
  • Achieve annual sales and profit goals with regional and unit management.
  • Forecast sales volume and profit for existing and new products and customers.
  • Establish and expand national, regional, and local supplier relationships.
  • Maintain pricing, product mix and stay current with market trends.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops and publications.
  • Forecasts and communicates details to senior management.

Job description

As Director – Sales, you will focus primarily on Hyperscale key accounts across the EMEA region, working in close cooperation with regional leaders and global account leads to drive account strategy, growth, profitability, and customer engagement.

You will also support execution of the AEC (Architects, Engineering and Contractor) program with these accounts across the regions, ensuring early engagement across the data centre project lifecycle and alignment with customers, consultants, contractors, partners, regional teams, and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong commercial leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude. The Director – Sales will engage with all levels of the customer’s organization, including technical, operations, supply chain, and executive management, and may develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals, account plans, product demonstrations, and customer-facing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Sell a diverse range of Data Center solutions and services, including structured cabling, physical security, electrical solutions, high-density liquid cooling, networking, IoT, and Pro-AV, across a defined territory.
  • Position services for design, end-to-end project deployment, product enhancement, and rack & roll.
  • Build partnerships across Business Units and work internally as part of a fast-paced sales team.
  • Develop business partner relations with strategic vendors/alliance partners to enhance value-add sales and project identification.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any post-sale issues.
  • Utilize sales management tools for sales planning, supplier planning, and documenting opportunities.
  • Understands competitive landscape and market insights; communicates effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Develops and administers sales plans to ensure customer satisfaction, quota attainment, and a skilled, motivated staff.
  • Achieves annual sales and profit goals by implementing strategies and analyzing trends with the regional and business unit management team.
  • Forecasts sales volume and profit for existing and new products and customers.
  • Establishes and expands national, regional, and local supplier relationships.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and pricing by staying current with market trends and competitors.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional societies.
  • Forecasts and communicates details to senior management.
Qualifications
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree - Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred
  • 7+ years of related industry professional sales
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing staff and programs at national, district or regional level
  • Working knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, initiate and implement sales strategies to achieve forecasted goals
  • Understands competitive landscape, market insights and effectively communicates across key internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven success in for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise teamwork, leadership, and flexibility
  • Excellent time management and computer skills
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%
