Job summary

MarketStar is looking for a Program Manager to lead a sales team working with Mailchimp, a leading SaaS email marketing platform. You will build and manage client relationships, drive revenue growth, and deliver strategic sales plans while reporting performance to senior leadership.

You will guide a skilled team, manage targets and incentives, and deliver weekly and quarterly business reviews with cross-functional partners in MarketStar’s ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a sales environment, preferably SaaS/tech
• 3+ years of direct leadership experience
• Experience managing client or stakeholder relationships
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals
• Experience using and interpreting sales data and reporting
• Proficient with CRM and sales acceleration tools
• Strong communication with team, leadership and executives
• Experience delivering business reviews in live or virtual settings
• Experience coaching a sales process to improve performance
• Understanding of project management fundamentals and milestones
• Aptitude for managing budgets with P&L responsibilities
• Growth mindset for professional and personal development

Responsibilities

• Lead a sales team for the Mailchimp client to meet targets and drive revenue growth
• Serve as main point of contact for client stakeholders and manage relationships
• Develop strategic sales plans and monitor market trends
• Provide regular performance reports to senior management
• Oversee targets, commissions and incentive plans aligned to client goals
• Deliver weekly and quarterly business reviews across multiple stakeholder levels
• Coach and develop team members to meet program objectives
• Support staffing optimization and talent development
• Collaborate with MarketStar directors, BI, Talent Solutions, and Foundation
• Identify initiatives to grow the program and scale the team
