Job summary

Careeriser-Limited in Limerick is seeking a Revit MEP Modeller to join a leading multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy. You will develop detailed 3D Revit models for HVAC, electrical and public health systems, and drive clash detection and coordination across disciplines.

The role offers hybrid working with two days in the office, a path to leadership within the MEP department, and benefits including private medical insurance and a pension.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ professional experience focusing on Revit MEP modelling.
• Experience within consulting engineering or contracting environment.
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D Revit models for HVAC, electrical and public health/plumbing systems.
• Model ductwork, pipework, containment, lighting, power and related MEP components.
• Carry out clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or BIM 360.
• Produce installation drawings, sections and BOMs from Revit models.
• Create and modify parametric Revit MEP families and classifications.
• Ensure BIM models meet ISO 19650 and project standards.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and MEP teams.
• Support delivery of fully coordinated MEP packages for fabrication.

Essentials

3+ years’ professional, hands‑on experience focused on Revit MEP modelling within a consulting engineering or contracting environment, with a relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services or Architectural Technology. Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage, with experience modelling to LOD 300/400 and a solid understanding of building services coordination. Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for HVAC, electrical and public health/plumbing systems
• Model ductwork, pipework, containment, lighting, power and associated MEP systems
• Carry out clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Identify, report and resolve multidisciplinary spatial clashes before construction
• Produce accurate installation drawings, sections, schematics, elevations and bills of materials from Revit models
• Create and modify parametric Revit MEP families, including connectors and system classifications
• Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans, modelling standards and ISO 19650 requirements
• Work collaboratively within shared central models alongside architects, structural designers and MEP engineers
• Ensure models are developed to the required LOD and are suitable for fabrication and installation
• Support lead engineers and project teams in delivering fully coordinated MEP packages
