Job summary

Glanua in Ireland invites applications for a CAD / REVIT / BIM Engineer. You will manage multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules, align design development with BIM execution plan, and coordinate between mechanical, electrical, and civil designers.

Essential: 3+ years in BIM coordination, Level 7 qualification, strong communication and organisational skills, and experience with Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.

• 3+ years of BIM co-ordination experience.
• 3rd level qualification: Level 7 including Diploma/Ordinary Bachelor.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production of multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules.
• Align design development with the BIM execution plan and perform regular model checks.
• Liaise between Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Structural designers.
• Produce and maintain MIDP throughout the project.

Attributes:Excellent communication & organisational skillsLooking to continuously improve their skillsetKeen interestininnovation and emerging technologiesExperience in Revit model and Family CreationExperience in Navisworks managerExperiencein BIM 360Experience working to timelines in a project environmentAbility to work off their own initiative but also as part of a project teamThe prior knowledge, skills and experience required of the CAD / REVIT / BIM Engineer are outlined as follows:3rd level qualificationin Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Building Services Engineering or Strong trades background coupled with a BIM qualification.Aminimum of 3+years’experience within a BIM Co-ordination function.Mechanical or Electrical background and have a proven track record in a similar role.Strong communication and organisational skills.Ability to work under pressure and to short deadlineThe main duties and responsibilities of the CAD / REVIT / BIM Engineer are outlined as follows:Manage the production of multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules.Align design development with the project BIM execution plan–which would include regular coordination and model checks and sharing of model data throughout the design team.Liaising between Mechanical & Electrical Designers and Civil & Structural DesignersProduction and maintenance of MIDP throughout the project.Participation in drawing/design reviews and facilitation of feasibility studies.Liaising with project teams to ascertain project needs and timelines for same.Taking instructions from Engineers and producing drawings with limited supervision or directionUse initiative and knowledge to support the CAD team and grow expertise in the use of CAD software and other tools
