Finning (Ireland) Ltd is seeking a motivated Retail Parts Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service while driving parts sales growth. You will become a trusted partner to customers, helping them find the right parts and solutions for their equipment.

The role combines inbound/outbound sales, account management, and digital engagement with CRM and e-commerce tools to grow sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts sales, customer service or similar commercial role.
• Proven track record toward sales, conversion or retention targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong customer focus and service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness and proactive sales approach.
• Good IT skills including MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and digital channels.
• Identify and supply correct parts using technical systems and catalogues.
• Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities to convert sales.
• Build strong customer relationships and develop your customer portfolio.
• Generate new business through outbound calling and customer development."

• Manage backorders and resolve supply issues with internal teams.
• Keep customers informed throughout the order process.

You will become a trusted partner to customers, helping them find the right parts and solutions to keep their equipment running efficiently and minimise costly downtime.

Job Description:

This is a varied role combining inbound and outbound sales, customer account management, order ownership, and digital customer engagement. You will work with industry-leading technology, including E-commerce platforms, AI-enabled tools, and CRM systems, to provide exceptional service and identify opportunities to grow sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling customer enquiries by phone, email, and digital channels.

• Identifying and supplying the correct parts using technical systems and catalogues.

• Preparing quotations and proactively following up opportunities to convert sales.

• Building strong customer relationships and developing your customer portfolio.

• Generating new business through outbound calling and customer development activity.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Experience in parts sales, technical sales, customer service, or a similar commercial role.
• Proven experience working towards sales, conversion, or customer retention targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of construction equipment, plant machinery, automotive, commercial vehicle, agricultural or engineering sectors.
• Understanding of equipment downtime and its impact on customer operations.
• Experience using digital sales platforms, E-commerce solutions or customer management systems.
