Job summary

Avista invites applications for a Resources Teacher at the Development Education Centre (Vincents Centre), Dublin. This is a fixed-term, part-time contract (32 hours per week) requiring a teaching degree recognised by the DOE and Teaching Council registration.

The successful candidate will work within a team to tailor services to each child’s/young person’s needs, collaborating closely with families and the MDT in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching degree recognised by the Department of Education and Skills.
• Be registered on the Teaching Council.
• Experience with children with complex needs is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDT.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista framework.
