Job summary
Autism A Chara in Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, is seeking a Social Care Worker for a 39-hour per week contract to cover maternity leave. The role requires a QQI Level 7 Social Care qualification and CORU registration eligibility, plus experience with complex needs.
Availability for roastered shifts, including evenings, weekends and night duty, and a full Irish driving licence are essential. We offer education support, a company pension, sick pay, maternity/paternity leave, 22 days annual leave,
Qualifications
- QQI Level 7 in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level is essential.
- Proof of CORU registration as Social Care Worker or application in progress.
- At least 6 months recent experience in social care supporting people with complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities and routines including personal care.
- Support the person to engage in their community.
- Help implement and develop care plans and PCPs.
