Job summary

Autism A Chara is seeking a Social Care Worker for a residential service in Ashford, Co. Wicklow. The role offers 39 hours per week with a rota including evenings, weekends, and night shifts. You will support residents with complex needs, implement care plans, and promote independence.

Essential criteria include a QQI Level 7 Social Care award and CORU registration or progress, plus a full Irish driving license. Training and development opportunities are highlighted in the package.

Qualifications

• Full QQI Level 7 Award in Social Care or equivalent at degree level.
• Registration with CORU as Social Care Worker or in progress.
• Minimum 6 months experience supporting people with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents in the residential service.
• Implement and develop care plans and PCPs, in line with regulations.
• Support daily living activities and personal care.
• Engage residents to promote community involvement.
