Job summary

Autism A Chara in Wicklow Town is seeking a Senior Social Care Worker to provide support to adults with complex needs across residential, respite, day and community settings. The role requires QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related degree, CORU registration or in-progress, and a valid Irish driving licence.

You’ll work on a rota including evenings and weekends, with opportunities for professional development, pension, health insurance, and generous leave. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 in Social Care or degree level is essential.
• CORU registration or application in progress required.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to people with complex needs in residential, respite, day and community settings.
• Participate in rota-based shifts including evenings and weekends; may require sleep-ins.
• Work under PCP and care plans, ensuring person-centred support and safety.
