Job summary

CPL Healthcare is seeking an experienced Person in Charge (PIC) for Intellectual Disability Services in Cavan to lead residential services. You will oversee designated centres, support teams and drive service improvement with a focus on dignity, choice and independence.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, families and external stakeholders to ensure HIQA standards and regulatory compliance, while promoting a positive, professional culture and ongoing quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree with NMBI registration or eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in health or social care.
• Recognised management qualification (Level 6 NFQ).
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred planning.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of designated residential services.
• Ensure safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care is delivered.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and Health Act 2007.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families and external stakeholders.
• Oversee care planning, risk management and continuous improvement.
