Job summary

CPL Group is seeking an experienced Person in Charge (PIC) to lead residential services for individuals with an intellectual disability from Cork. This leadership role oversees designated centres, supports teams, and drives empowerment, dignity, choice and independence for residents, while maintaining high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or Level 8 Degree in Social Care.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience within health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, person-centred planning and clinical governance.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day operation of designated residential services in line with HIQA standards and the Health Act 2007.
• Ensure safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care is consistently delivered.
• Maintain full compliance with regulatory, legislative and organisational requirements.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to staff, promoting a positive and professional team culture.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and external stakeholders.
• Oversee care planning, risk management, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
