Job summary

Cpl Group seeks a dynamic Person in Charge (PIC) to lead residential services for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Cork. You will manage operations, ensure HIQA-aligned care, and support staff to empower service users with dignity and independence.

The role demands a Nursing Degree with NMBI registration (or eligibility) or a Level 8 Social Care degree, plus at least 3 years of management experience in health or social care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree or Level 8 in Social Care is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of residential services aligned with HIQA standards.
• Drive safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Inspire and develop staff to deliver excellence.
• Build relationships with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Champion best practice in care planning and risk management.
