Job summary

Evara Limited in Dublin is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with solid experience in residential house building. You will manage procurement, subcontract packages, monthly valuations, cashflows, and cost reporting to drive value across projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc/MSc in Surveying and be Chartered or working towards it, with IT proficiency in Buildsoft, CostX and Excel, plus strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Surveying preferred or working towards.
• Chartered status or pursuit preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in QS roles, especially residential construction.
• IT proficient with Cubit/CostX and related tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of subcontract packages and advising best procurement options to drive added value.
• Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Undertaking monthly valuations, cost reports and project-specific cashflows.
• Reporting on budgets, variations and cashflows.
• Maintaining cost databases/benchmarks for estimates and cost plans based on real-time information.
• Maintaining subcontractor and supplier contractual details.
• Other duties as may reasonably be required.
