Job summary

Evara in Ireland is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with residential house-building experience to join our team. You will manage subcontract packages, oversee payments, valuations, and cashflows to support project delivery.

The role requires IT proficiency with Buildsoft or CostX, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Chartered status is preferred or pursued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ working experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• BSc/MSc in Surveying (part-time acceptable)
• Chartered status preferred or actively pursued
• Buildsoft or CostX experience advantageous
• IT proficiency with Word/Excel

Responsibilities

• Procurement of subcontract packages and advised options to drive value.
• Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Undertaking monthly valuations, cost reports and project cashflows.
• Reporting on budgets, variations and cashflows.
• Maintaining cost databases/benchmarks for future estimates.
• Maintaining subcontractor and supplier details.
• Other duties as may be reasonably required.
