Job summary

Careeriser-Limited in Dublin is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential developer. You will measure planned works, contribute to cost projections, and support decision-making from acquisition through design development.

The role requires 2 years' post-graduate cost planning experience with a PQS/Developer and strong IT skills (Buildsoft-Cubit, CostX or equivalent, MS Word and Excel). Office-based in Central Dublin with attractive package and career progression.

Qualifications

• 2 years' post-graduate cost planning experience with a PQS/Developer.
• Strong IT skills including Buildsoft-Cubit, CostX or equivalent, and Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost plans from early feasibility through to detailed cost planning, ready for handover to the project team.
• Participate in design team meetings, providing feedback to the Senior Cost Manager.
• Communicate essential design information to the Senior Cost Manager to ensure efficiency in unit types, layouts, and materials.
• Liaise with the cost planning team and benchmark data from live projects to support budgeting.
• Work with the sales team to ensure specifications and budgets align with market expectations.
• Aid in taking off quantities and creating Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for upcoming developments.
• Help develop and maintain the company's construction cost databank for financial appraisals.
• Assist in the preparation of Part V applications and ensure compliance with local authorities.
• Engage with PQS consultants to prepare BoQs for project budgets.
• Attend meetings and conduct site visits.
