Job summary

Vickerstock partners with a leading residential developer to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for the Dublin-based Commercial Team. The role focuses on the commercial management of residential projects, including procurement, cost control and financial reporting.

You will collaborate with site teams to monitor budgets, analyse tenders and prepare monthly cost reports, while identifying value engineering opportunities and ensuring contractual compliance. Salary €60,000-€80,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor with residential exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in cost management and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial management of residential projects from procurement to completion.
• Monitor budgets, costs and expenditure against appraisals.
• Prepare and analyse subcontractor and supplier tender packages and support procurement decisions.
• Manage subcontractor packages including valuations and final accounts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and provide updates on project costs and final expenditure.
• Review subcontractor claims and ensure payments align with contracts.
• Support subcontract agreements and purchase orders administration.
• Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain commercial records and ensure contractual compliance.
• Collaborate with site teams, purchasing, finance and other departments to deliver projects.
