Job summary

Gi Group is seeking a Registered Architect / Assigned Certifier for Midlands residential developments. You will drive design, planning, and technical execution while ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations and BCAR.

The role requires RIAI registration with 3–5+ years post-registration experience, strong AutoCAD/Revit/BIM skills, and onsite delivery across large housing schemes.

Qualifications

• RIAI registered architect with post-registration experience.
• Deep understanding of Irish Building Regulations and BCAR.
• Experience as Design/Project Architect or Assigned Certifier on residential projects.
• Proven ability to deliver from planning through construction to handover.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM workflows.
• Experience with large-scale housing estates and apartments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage designs for extensive residential projects.
• Produce planning, tender, construction drawings and technical packages.
• Align site layouts with local authority requirements and Irish regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, fire safety, BER assessors, utilities, and specialists.
• Lead BCAR Assigned Certifier duties and inspections.
• Manage site inspections and ensure quality against drawings.
