Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a qualified Registered Architect to join a leading Dublin architecture practice. You will lead design development, manage projects, and communicate with clients to present proposals and progress updates.

The ideal candidate is an RIAI member with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture and at least 5 years of experience, proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. A competitive salary and development opportunities are offered.

Job description

My client is a leading architecture firm known for its innovative design solutions and commitment to sustainability, which they have won awards for. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Architect who is a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Design Development:Lead and contribute to the design development process from concept to completion, ensuring creative and functional solutions.
  • Project Management:Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Client Interaction:Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Technical Documentation:Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents in compliance with building regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other architects, engineers, and construction professionals to coordinate and integrate all aspects of the project.
  • Site Visits:Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and resolve any onsite issues.
  • Sustainability:Integrate sustainable design practices and materials into projects, promoting environmentally responsible architecture.
  • Compliance:Ensure all projects comply with local planning regulations, building codes, and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Professional Accreditation:Must be a registered member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI).
  • Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Experience:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Revit proficiency is highly preferable but not essential
  • Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, planning laws, and construction standards.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and solutions effectively.
  • Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Team Player:Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Portfolio:A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects.
