The Connemara Coast Hotel in Galway is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team. This role focuses on handling guest inquiries, upholding service standards, and maximizing occupancy and rate through effective communication and product knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, strong written and spoken English, excellent organization, and proficient PMS system skills.

• Notwithstanding your positivity and ambition for hospitality, we ideally would like you to have some experience for your role as outlined below.
• Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• High level of computer literacy is essential.
• Good organisation and administration skills with high levels of attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of working with a PMS system.

• To ensure that all reservations queries are dealt with in a professional manner and are answered within the required time frame.
• To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product and goals, in addition to being aware of all the Hotel’s facilities.
• To ensure that we maximise yield through occupancy and rate.
• To liaise with reception to resolve any queries from guest billing.

Role & Responsibilities

All our team pride themselves in offering exceptional guest service to ensure we always go above our service standards. Your role with us will include:
