Job summary

The Connemara Coast Hotel in Galway is hiring a Reservations Agent to join its hospitality team. You will handle guest queries, maintain in-depth knowledge of hotel facilities, and work to maximise occupancy and rate while liaising with reception on billing.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong written and verbal communication, high computer literacy, good organisation, and PMS system knowledge. Windward Management offers a welcoming team and benefits across the group.

• To ensure that all reservations queries are dealt with in a professional manner and are answered within the required time frame.
• To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product and goals, in addition to being aware of all the Hotel’s facilities.
• To ensure that we maximise yield through occupancy and rate.
• To liaise with reception to resolve any queries from guest billing.

Role & Responsibilities

• To ensure that all reservations queries are dealt with in a professional manner and are answered within the required time frame.

• Notwithstanding your positivity and ambition for hospitality, we ideally would like you to have some experience for your role as outlined below:




• Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality.

• Good organisation and administration skills with high levels of attention to detail.




• Working knowledge of working with a PMS system.
