Job summary

EV Charging Ireland in Carrick-on-Shannon, Ireland, seeks a Technical Administrator to join our office team. The role blends administration, customer communication and support for sales and technical teams, from enquiry through to installation and after-sales support.

The successful candidate will develop product knowledge, communicate professionally with customers, maintain CRM data, and progress tasks with guidance and increasing independence. Onboarding is structured with ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration, customer support, or office-based roles.
• Strong telephone, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Experience maintaining customer records and managing follow-up actions.
• Competence using Outlook and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with a CRM or scheduling system.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities professionally.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer communications by telephone, email, WhatsApp and internal systems
• Processing new enquiries and maintaining accurate customer and job records within our CRM
• Requesting, checking and recording information and documentation required at each stage
• Sending confirmations, appointment reminders and progress updates
• Supporting administration relating to EV charging, solar PV, energy monitoring, grants, certification, warranties and service calls
• Developing product and service knowledge to answer common questions
• Supporting quotation administration and follow-up on information & payments
• Monitoring tasks and follow-ups to ensure timely progress
• Preparing clear information for sales and technical teams
• Referring decisions to the appropriate team member
