Job summary

Dwelly is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer to own and optimize the company’s communication channels across IP telephony, SMS/RCS, email, and WhatsApp. You’ll work with product, engineering, QA, operations, and external providers to boost reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Higher degree education.
Strong understanding of telephony systems, SIP, trunks, routing logic, and VoIP operations.
Experience troubleshooting telecom incidents across voice, SMS, email, or messaging channels.
Ability to work with APIs, logs, JSON, webhooks, and provider documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills – ability to approach challenges logically and propose practical solutions.
Experience with Twilio, Vonage, Voximplant, or similar providers.
UK number porting experience.
WABA operational knowledge.
Email deliverability / blacklist management expertise.
SQL and spreadsheet analysis skills.
Contact centre or high-volume communications environment experience.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day performance of Dwelly's communication channels (IP telephony, SMS/RCS, email, WhatsApp) and ensure reliability.
Design and optimise telephony routing, support CRM integrations via APIs and webhooks.
Handle telecom tickets, assist QA during incidents and testing, drive rapid resolution.
Assess telecom stacks of acquired agencies and automate repetitive processes to support growth.
