Job summary

RECRUITERS is seeking an experienced claims handler for a genuinely flexible, fully remote role based in Ireland. You will take ownership of two portfolios—liability and broker claims—working around your schedule to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role can be structured as part-time or full-time. You will handle IRB/ARB procedures, liaise with solicitors, and prepare monthly and pre-renewal reports for large clients.

Qualifications

• CIP qualification and extensive liability, motor and EL/PL injury claims experience.
• Property claims experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end claims processes including IRB/ARB procedures.
• Ability to work independently with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolios of liability and broker claims with large deductibles.
• Investigate liability issues, pursue early settlements and maintain client communication.
• Coordinate with IRB/ARB, including assessments, awards, and related payments.
• Prepare reserves and quarterly bordereaux for insurers.
• Liaise with solicitors on litigated cases and guide policyholders through claims lifecycle.
• Report claims, respond to inquiries and ensure timely progress reviews.
• Develop monthly claims reports and pre-renewal reviews for large clients.
