Job summary

Recruiters in Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Handler to own liability, EL/PL and motor portfolios on a genuinely flexible, fully remote basis. The role can be part-time or full-time, with hours shaped around your schedule as long as the work is done well.

CIP-qualified professionals with strong liability and motor claim experience will excel, handling IRB/ARB procedures and settlements while communicating with clients and brokers from anywhere in Ireland.

Qualifications

• CIP-qualified is required.
• Strong liability, motor and EL/PL injury claims experience.
• Some property claims experience is advantageous.
• Able to work independently with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage liability claims portfolio for clients with large deductibles.
• Investigate liability, pursue early settlements and maintain client communication.
• Handle IRB/ARB interactions including assessments and awards.
• Maintain reserves and prepare quarterly bordereaux for insurers.
• Liaise with solicitors on litigated cases.
• Act as outsourced claims dept for brokers across motor, EL and PL claims.
• Manage inbox items from notification to settlement.
• Guide policyholders through the claims process and answer queries.
