Job summary

AIG Europe S.A. (Ireland branch) is seeking a Casually Claims Adjuster to manage a portfolio of EL, PL, product liability and commercial motor fleet claims from notification through to resolution.

You will appoint investigators, instruct defence solicitors, and participate in court hearings when required, while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and policyholders. You will contribute to accurate reserving and communicate with internal stakeholders, ensuring timely, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Experience in motor bodily injury and liability claims.
• Knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements for this line of business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management and diary management ability.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of EL, PL, Product liability and commercial motor fleet claims from notification to conclusion.
• Appoint investigators and expert witnesses as required.
• Instruct defence solicitors and attend court when required; manage litigated claims.
• Work closely with brokers and policyholders to resolve claims with high customer service standards.
• Maintain accurate reserving in line with claims reserving philosophy and communicate with internal stakeholders.
