Job summary

CrowdStrike Ireland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Intelligence Automation team, building scalable data pipelines, storage, and presentation layers for analysts. You will own end-to-end delivery from design to production, mentoring teammates and documenting solutions for internal customers.

A strong background in distributed systems and Go/Python is required, with a focus on security and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic/work experience.
• Multi-year experience in software engineering.
• Experience in developing scalable, distributed and production‑grade services.
• Proficiency in Linux and containers.
• Proficiency in hands‑on coding in multiple programming languages.
• Knowledge of SQL and No‑SQL database systems.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Ability to maintain and improve existing Go and Python code bases.
• Ability to communicate technical detail clearly to management, customers, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Integrate into the Intelligence team and gather internal requirements.
• Maintain long-term for both new and legacy systems.
• Develop requirements from vague mission statements to detailed specifications.
• Develop systems and autonomously balance rapid development with scalability and performance.
