Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Renewals Manager to manage a portfolio of subscription renewals, drive on-time closures, and identify expansion opportunities across a global, all-remote team. This role emphasizes practical execution, data accuracy in the CRM, and proactive stakeholder communication.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to ensure smooth renewals, mitigate risk, and maximize recurring revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience handling renewals workflows and multi-year deals.
• Ability to interpret usage trends and contract terms.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned renewal portfolio and track key dates.
• Conduct consultative conversations to understand customer usage and future plans.
• Identify expansion opportunities and surface up-sell potential.
• Prepare renewal quotes and related documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Analyze renewal scenarios and escalate risks when needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, CS, and Finance to keep renewals moving.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records for forecasting and reporting.
