Job summary

GitLab seeks an Associate Renewals Manager to drive timely renewal execution and revenue protection. You will manage a portfolio of customer renewals, engage in consultative conversations to understand usage and future needs, and identify expansion opportunities across regions in a fully remote environment.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to resolve blockers, prepare renewal quotes, and maintain accurate CRM records for forecasting.

Qualifications

• Experience executing renewal processes, including basics and more complex scenarios.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing many renewals.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer renewals, tracking key dates and driving on-time closure.
• Conduct consultative conversations with customers to understand usage and future needs.
• Identify expansion opportunities and surface upsell potential.
• Prepare and send renewal quotes and related documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Analyze renewal situations and escalate any anomalies to senior team members.
• Explain renewal terms to customers and align with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to identify expansion opportunities and unblock renewals.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records for forecasting and reporting.
• Prioritize tasks to drive quality and timely results.
• Contribute to team goals by collaborating with peers.
