Jobgether is seeking a Customer Support Engineer based in Ireland to assist developers and businesses with complex database and production challenges. You will diagnose issues, guide customers toward sustainable solutions, and help shape scalable support processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Engineering, documentation improvement, and mentoring customers to self-sufficiency in a fast-growing remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting production applications or SaaS products.
• Strong SQL knowledge with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and understand unfamiliar code when debugging.
• Willingness to learn new languages and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer empathy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers and developers on using the database platform.
• Respond to and triage issues across support channels.
• Diagnose issues spanning applications, databases, and production workflows.
• Help customers become self-sufficient through guidance.
• Create and improve documentation and playbooks.
• Collaborate with Engineering to drive product improvements.
• Translate feedback into actionable recommendations.
