Job summary

Vaas is seeking a Call Centre Assistant to join our customer service team. You will handle inbound calls, resolve queries, and provide accurate information about products and accounts.

You’ll log details in our CRM and work toward targets while maintaining high service standards from a remote location. The role requires strong English communication, problem-solving, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or call centre is preferred.
• Excellent verbal English; other languages are a plus.
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using computer systems and typing while on calls.
• Able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings/weekends.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer queries, requests, and complaints.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, and account details.
• Resolve issues at first point of contact where possible; escalate complex cases as needed.
• Accurately log call details and outcomes in the CRM/call centre system.
• Meet individual and team performance targets (call handling time, first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, adherence to schedule).
• Identify opportunities to inform customers of relevant products or services.
• Handle customer complaints calmly and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Stay up to date on company products, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with data protection (GDPR) and quality assurance standards.
