Job summary

Unipharmedtech in Ireland is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician for our Clonmel stores. This is a 40-hour permanent role with hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, with reduced hours on Sunday.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under pharmacist supervision, manage stock, and assist with blister packs and claims. New qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous; newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Clonmel-based stores. This is a 40-hour permanent position with the stores opening hours operating between 9a.m. to 6p.m. Monday to Saturday and reduced hours on Sunday. The team currently comprises a Supervising Pharmacist, a Retail Store Manager, Relief Pharmacists, Technicians, and Sales Assistants. This store has manageable items and services.
