Job summary

Unipharmedtech is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join our stores across Cork. This is a 40-hour permanent position with 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday a month, serving multiple stores within an hours drive.

You will work under the supervision of a Pharmacist, dispensing medicines, managing stock, and preparing blister packs. Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, and newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• Familiarity with McLernons MPS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
