Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join our team across multiple Dublin-area stores including Mounttown, Stillorgan, Dalkey, Merrion, Monkstown and Glasthule. This 40-hour, 5-day permanent position offers the chance to dispense medicines under pharmacist supervision and support a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

Experience in a busy dispensary is preferred, but newly qualified technicians are welcome.
Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
