Job summary

The Rehab Group seeks a Relief Instructor to train learners under QQI Level 3-5 specifications, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the training programme. The role focuses on supporting learners with additional needs and guiding them toward future educational and employment opportunities.

This fixed term contract (12 months) requires a third level qualification in Education/Training or Social Sciences, plus a QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer or equivalent, and experience in mentoring learners

Qualifications

• Must hold a third level qualification in Education/Training or Social Sciences.
• Possess a QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer or equivalent.
• Several years of relevant occupational experience with learners in education/guidance contexts.
• Experience in mental health is advantageous.
• Familiar with QQI certification and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver systematic training according to curriculum for QQI Level 3-5.
• Support learners to develop knowledge, skills and confidence for progression.
• Meet KPIs for learner placement and certification targets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain programme allocations.
