Job summary

The Rehab Group, through the National Learning Network, is seeking a Rehabilitative Training Instructor in Wexford for a fixed-term 12-month contract (19.5 hours weekly). The role focuses on person-centred training, developing individual plans and supporting learners with diverse needs within a multidisciplinary team.

Experience with QQI learning and a third-level qualification in relevant fields is preferred; a Train the Trainer qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Education/Training to third-level standard in relevant fields.
• Pedagogical/training qualifications (e.g., Train the Trainer) required.
• Experience in a specialized training environment.
• Experience with learners with additional support needs including intellectual disabilities and ASD.
• Experience delivering QQI certified learning.
• Ability to develop one-to-one key working and person-centred plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide systematic training according to curricula for QQI Level 3 or suitable levels.
• Support learners in developing knowledge, skills and confidence for progression.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain programme allocations.
• Assist learners in reviewing experiences and planning future goals.
• Develop Individual Action Plans to support progression.
• Evaluate rehabilitation needs and produce learner profiles.
• Source and support work experience placements and model professional work behaviours.
• Provide constructive feedback on progress.
