Job summary

Reach Ability in Ireland is seeking a Relief Community Support Worker across our day service hubs and residential homes. You will assist the Team Leader and Day Services Manager to support the well-being and dignity of people with intellectual disabilities.

You will help service users participate in community life, maintain personal relationships, and pursue education and personal development, while upholding safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent
• Eligible to work in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the physical and emotional well-being, as well as the personal hygiene, of people with intellectual disabilities as assigned by the Unit Team Leader.
• Support service users and residents in living in the community, choice and control, social and civic participation, personal relationships, education and personal development, etc

Education

QQI (Fetac) Level 5 in Healthcare Support - Major Award or equivalent

BA in Applied Social Studies or similar
