Job summary

Reach Ability in Ireland is seeking a Relief Community Support Worker across our day service hubs and residential homes. You will assist the Team Leader and Day Services Manager to support the well-being and dignity of people with intellectual disabilities.

You will help service users participate in community life, maintain personal relationships, and pursue education and personal development, while upholding safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent
• Eligible to work in Ireland

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently seeking applications for the position of Relief Community Support Worker across our day service hubs and residential homes.

• Supporting service users and residents in living in the community, choice and control, social and civic participation, personal relationships, education and personal development, etc

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of QQI (Fetac) Level 5 in Healthcare Support - Major Award or similar or currently undertaking (minimum Year 2) or hold a BA in Applied Social Studies or similar
• Be eligible to work in Ireland

Remuneration:

The successful candidate will be appointed on the Care Assistant HSE Consolidated Payscale (Sept 2008), (€15.98 - €22.20 per hour DOE)
