Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking Relief Chefs to join our team in Limerick City and county. Salary ranges from €18 to €22 per hour with no weekend or evening work, offering midweek day shifts and work-life balance.

You will gain experience across a variety of professional kitchens and services in a flexible role. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a fast-paced kitchen, with HACCP and manual handling certifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Contract catering experience is an advantage.
• Valid Manual Handling and HACCP certs (training available).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food in line with kitchen standards.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.
• Managing prep, stock rotation, and cleanliness.
• Adjusting to different menus and service styles.
