Job summary

The Rehab Group in Naas, Co. Kildare, invites applications for a RT Evolve Instructor. This permanent 36-hour-per-week role delivers the Rehabilitative Training Programme to learners with varying needs, including ID, ASD, and other disabilities, in a person-centred setting.

You will develop individual training plans, deliver systematic training, maintain progress records, and perform one-to-one key working to support learner independence under New Directions.

Qualifications

• Education and Training to 3rd level standard (Youth and Community Work, teaching, adult education).
• Train the Trainer qualification at minimum.
• Experience of working in a specialized training environment.
• Experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities and ASD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the RT programme with competence and in a person-centred training environment.
• Provide systematic training according to curricula; maintain learner progress records.
• Carry out one-to-one key working and support learners’ Independent Action Plans.
• Evaluate rehabilitative and vocational needs and produce learner profiles.
