Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Scheduling & Dispatch Supervisor to lead a regional team responsible for planning, dispatching, and coordinating field work across water and wastewater operations. You will manage work orders, optimize resources, and ensure timely, compliant service delivery.

The role requires at least 3 years in water/utilities, strong IT and scheduling system experience, and a track record of coaching teams to achieve performance targets. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the water/utilities sector or similar
• Strong IT systems knowledge including Scheduling/Work Management systems
• Experience managing a dispersed hybrid team with change management skills
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability to develop staff
• Proactive in identifying improvements and delivering results

Responsibilities

• Enter work order requirements into the scheduling system to plan operations and repairs
• Dispatch work to field resources and coordinate with water/wastewater teams and third parties
• Oversee regional scheduling and ensure optimal use of resources and skills
• Allocate work and adjust schedules as needed to reflect changes
• Prioritise and scope work for incidents, emergencies, or reactive events
• Provide root cause analysis to support scheduling and maintenance planning
• Lead a regional team and drive performance, coaching and development
• Set KPIs and standards for scheduling quality and performance
• Ensure adherence to HSQE policies and drive safe, compliant operations
• Collaborate with other functions to deliver customer-focused service
• Contribute to process design and SOP implementation for national scheduling standards
• Engage with stakeholders during program phases to design and implement processes
