Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Water Network Maintenance and Repair Senior Operative to lead regional water network maintenance and repair activities. You will supervise teams, ensure safe, compliant operations, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to maintain service levels.

The role requires strong health and safety culture, at least two years in a similar role, and experience with IT logging and reporting. Salary is commensurate with experience and range guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong health and safety culture experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience using IT systems for logging and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planned and reactive maintenance across the water network to deliver safe, compliant operations.
• Respond promptly to alarms and outages; provide emergency cover as needed.
• Oversee non-domestic water meters, site investigations and meter replacements.
• Lead teams, communicate with customers, and manage escalated issues and local reps.
• Coordinate with Customer teams to minimise disruption and protect public health.
• Record activities, update systems, and ensure proper reporting and safety logs.
