Job summary

HID Global in Galway, Ireland, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across assigned accounts in the region and deliver on ambitious targets. This field-based role requires significant travel and close collaboration with the European team to shape business strategy and customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years experience managing accounts in a B2B environment.
• Demonstrable ability to hit sales targets.
• Previous experience of selling Physical Access Control solutions is desirable.
• Experience in a solution selling environment specifically Saas and/or Cloud based licensing models would be desirable.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work as a self-starter, but also a work effectively as part of a team.
• Hands on attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects, successfully prioritizing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop all assigned accounts within your region to achieve set targets.
• Field based position with 60% of your time spent travelling and engaging with customers & End Users.
• Develop and execute the Business Strategy for new and existing accounts across Ireland.
• Identify new sales opportunities to increase market share.
• Introduce the latest products and solutions.
• Devise and implement account plans to accommodate strategic goals.
• Deliver the required support & training to accounts in region.
• Conduct regular market analysis to determine the customers needs.
• Represent the company at trade shows, customer events and association meetings as required.
• Collaborate across business areas to efficiently deliver solutions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain customer details, activities and opportunities using the Salesforce CRM Tool.
• Analyse your account sales figures on a regular basis to understand buying patterns.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of all HID Products and competitive products & solutions.
• Prepare and submit accurate forecasts on a regular basis using the tools provided.
• Create a Partner Community in order to maximize brand loyalty and revenue.
